Majorlift is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Jason Nelson as our Operations Manager, with a brief to improve efficiency and introduce 5S – a Japanese production methodology to improve our workspace.
Jason is a very proud Welshman and, in common with all his countrymen, is a keen supporter of the national rugby team. He is also a very keen Golfer, listing it as is his number one pass time (now Game of Thrones has finished) and plays off a handicap of 6.
After serving in the Royal Navy for 12 years and specialising in weapons engineering he worked for Mabey Bridge, Bailey caravans and TT Electronics, managing production and setting up 5S and lean manufacturing, which he will be responsible for initiating with Majorlift. His introduction coincided with the installation of our new spray booths, which turned out to be a very stressful month! We wish him a long and successful career with Majorlift.
